June activities at Montrose Health Center are bursting with fun and the joys of nature! Some of the special features in June are these!
A Deviled Egg-stravaganza to remind us all of picnics with that delightful treat! The tastes of summer always bring up special memories for all.
An afternoon of riverfront fishing should test the anglers’ skills and will give river time for our residents. Happy Fishing!
In honor of our fathers, Montrose Health Center and the Pen City Cruisers Car Club will feature a Cruise-in Car Show on Saturday, June 20, 1-4 pm, open to everyone. Rumor has it that we may even see a vintage classic boat! Noisy Neighbors band will be there to provide music and Gingerbilly’s Food Truck will also be available for food purchases. Plan to join us and bring a car if you wish!
Bring Your Cat to Work day should be a Purrr-fect addition to our month of June.
Get out the sunscreen and enjoy the month of June with us!!

Nursing Update
Dear Families and Friends,
We hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer! May was a very special and busy month here at MHC as we celebrated both Nurses Week and National Nursing Home Week.
Throughout the week, we recognized and celebrated our incredible staff for the compassion, dedication, and care they provide to our residents every single day. From themed dress-up days and treats to games, meals, prizes, and special recognition activities, there was lots of laughter and fun shared by everyone. We are so thankful for our amazing team and all they do to make MHC feel like home.
National Nursing Home Week also gave us the opportunity to celebrate our wonderful residents and the strong sense of community we share together. Residents enjoyed activities, social events, music, snacks, and time spent with staff and friends throughout the week. It was truly a joyful celebration filled with smiles and memories.
As we move into June, we are looking forward to warmer weather, outdoor activities, summer decorations, and spending more time outside enjoying the sunshine. We encourage families to visit often and join us for upcoming activities whenever possible.
Thank you for your continued support, kindness, and trust. We are grateful to care for your loved ones and appreciate being part of your extended family.
Warm regards, Jensen Riley Director of Nursing
