Activity Update

Welcome, Autumn!

Living at the foot of the beautiful Mississippi River bluffs adds a richness to our residents’ days. From the front porch and windows, we can watch the vibrant colors of the changing seasons. 

Our activity program is ready to celebrate the changing seasons with our Montrose Health Center family.  September brings a baby shower in honor of Administrator Mallory Orton’s son.  Mallory & Andrew plan to welcome him in October and we all share in their excitement.  Corporate Chef Kevin Hebert will be preparing the food.  Residents will work with Laura on gifts for the baby.

We plan on in-house activities to honor the nearby town’s celebrations:   Mount Pleasant’s Old Threshers Reunion, Nauvoo’s Grape Festival, Fort Madison’s Tri-State Rodeo, Donnellson’s Fall Festival, and Keokuk’s Labor Day celebration. Our residents have made wonderful memories during these events.

Remember your Grandma & Grandpa on Grandparents’ Day…  we will be!

Keokuk’s American Legion Auxiliary will be bringing Bingo to us.  Seeing them again will be delightful.
