Flu-season is fast approaching. Influenza is a respiratory illness that typically is spread through coughing or sneezing. Flu-vaccines are designed to protect against certain strains of influenza A and B virus. Yearly vaccination is recommended by the CDC as the single most important step in preventing influenza. Please sign or decline the consent forms once you receive them and return to us in the mail so that we can begin vaccinating as soon as the vaccines arrive, hopefully in early October.
We will also be having a COVID-19 booster shot clinic within the month of October. It was found to be effective for long-term care residents.
