Hello Everyone! 


    Here at the Montrose Health Center Dietary Department Summer flew by and we are looking forward to Fall and the delicious, hearty dishes that are on our new Fall and Winter menu.  Some of those recipes are, Apple Sauerkraut Pork Shoulder with Oven Browned Potatoes,  Lemon, Rosemary Chicken with Baked Parmesan Sweet Potatoes, Maple Cranberry Roast Turkey with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, Potato Bacon Chowder with Turkey and Cheese on a Croissant, and Hawaiian Meatballs with Parsley Noodles.  Sounds delicious doesn't it?  As the days cool down, our residents will be enjoying these and more "good, old comfort food" recipes that are sure to please! 
     We also love to celebrate various "National Days" and coming up soon we will be celebrating National Coffee Day, National Taco Day and National Dessert Day! Food and celebrating go hand in hand and our previous National Day Celebrations have been so much fun!

In October, we will also be celebrating National Healthcare Food Service Week from October 3rd-9th. We appreciate all of our dietary staff: Brenda Barton,  Erinn Rooney, Laurel Zechin, Lauretta Zechin, Sheldon Rooney, Shelby Rooney, Abby Sugars and Diane Sugars (Dietary Supervisor).
