‘Twas the day before Christmas 

In the Kitchen at Montrose Health Center

‘Twas the day before Christmas and all through the place

There was hustle and bustle and a smile on every face.

Brenda was busy stocking and filling, not missing a thing

Making sure our residents will eat like a king.

Sheldon was cooking up breakfast, so tasty and quick,

Serving up biscuits and gravy ever so thick.

Laurel was decorating delicious hot cinnamon rolls

that will fill the resident’s bellies and souls.

Erinn was dashing around cooking rolls and pies

All of which are a delight to the resident’s eyes.

Shelby was dishing up desserts in a dash

For each resident, to eat in a flash.

Lauretta was preparing the ham for Christmas day

Which would be the center of our Christmas day buffet.

Abby was busy serving coffee and hot cocoa galore

with each resident enjoying more and more.

Diane was making potatoes and sides to complete the Christmas feast

Because we don’t want our residents to be hungry in the least.
