Activity Update

Watermelon Festival fills the town of Montrose during the middle of August every year. We love to help our residents join in!  We plan to prepare and taste some watermelon pizza, learn from watermelon trivia, paint some watermelon rocks, and participate in the wonderful Watermelon Festival Parade. Some residents will ride and some will watch from our own front porch. As always, our watermelon barn quilt graces our storage shed all year round. We are proud to say it did not blow away during the June wind! Watermelon strong!  That is our town! That is our home! This year is extra special after what we have all been through with the storm.  Let’s make it the best festival ever and smile like a slice of watermelon rind!
